The application is to include: 
* Proof of citizenship (photocopy of identity card or passport will be sufficient); 
* A curriculum vitae in tabular form in German or English (course of studies, place of studies, name of professor/teacher, concert
activities) 
* Certificate of studies, diploma or letter of personal recommendation * Two photos in passport picture format  
* Registration fee in the amount of € 50.-, crossed cheque or copy of bank remittance to account No. 1128 0328, Sparkasse in Bremen, sorting code No. 290 501 01, Beneficiary: Landesmusikrat Bremen e. V.

* Your contest program (in German or English) which you are going to perform in accordance with the Rules and Regulations.  
* The application form.  

The Chief Committee will decide on admission of contestants.
The Committee may limit the number of contestants.
The candidates will be informed of the respective decision not later than July 15th, 2009.


The order of performance will be chosen by draw.
Candidates must register personally on October 18th, 2009 at the Contest Secretariat. As long as the contestants continue to take part in the Contest, they will not be authorized to leave Bremen without the explicit permission of the Chief Committee( prize winners only after the prize awarding ceremony and completion of CD-production).

The prize winners commit themselves to take part – without remuneration – in the final concert and subsequent CD-production. The choice of program will be agreed upon in cooperation with the panel of judges. The prize winners‘ concert may be recorded by radio and TV.

Any titles to the recordings and their distribution shall be considered as being relinquished to the Landesmusikrat Bremen. Any proceeds resulting thereof will be used to finance the Contest.

Public presentation of the prize winners and the prize awarding ceremony will take place at the end of the contest.

Contestants shall be entitled to payment of the prize moneys only when having participated in the winners’ concert and possibly the production of the CD mentioned above.

By their registration, contestants agree with the above guidelines. The decisions of the panel of judges are final, any recourse to courts of law being excluded.
